The first of Casio’s new digital watches will be available to the public starting Wednesday, in an upgrade to its watch range for kids, the company said.

The Casio Kids Digital Watch has a digital display with customizable colors and an app to show and share digital information with family and friends, as well as the ability to send photos and videos, the brand said.

Kids Digital Watches for Kids will be priced at $229.99, or $249.99 with a two-year subscription.

Casio said the digital watch will be more of a fun and interactive way for kids to explore digital media.

The Casio digital watches for boys and girls will be made available starting in the third quarter of next year.

The first two of the new Casio models will be sold in early 2019 for $199.99.

The company will release new watches in 2019 for boys under the Casio Youth Digital Watch, and girls under the Digital Watch for Girls.

The new digital watch range is part of Caso’s $10 billion purchase of Nest Labs in September.

The deal will make Casio the third major watch maker to make a significant digital push into the digital world, joining Apple Watch and Pebble.
