How do I get started?
If you haven’t already, you can get the ROland digital home and workspace key and macro software now.
You will also need a rolands USB dongle and a rolanders desktop USB hub, so make sure to grab both before you get started!
Once you have the software installed, go to the ROlands settings page, then click on the menu icon to expand the menu.
This will bring up a list of the software options you want to use.
Select the software you want and click the Add button to add the software.
This software will install itself into your ROlands USB hub and automatically take care of setting up your home network.
The ROland desktop USB dungle will take care a lot of the work for you.

Once you’ve added the software, you will be able to open the ROlanders software preferences to configure your rolands software and home network, as shown below: In the ROlander settings, you should also see a section called Software.
Here, you’ll find a list for the software’s built-ins.
Here are some examples: Openbox for music, gaming, and photo management.
The openbox software is designed to work with any OS, and has been tested with Linux and Windows operating systems.

If it’s working correctly, you want a rolander USB hub to connect to your ROlanders computer.
We also recommend the Roland Desktop USB Hub for Mac OS X. This USB hub has a built in Ethernet port and USB 3.0 port, so it is easy to hook up to your computer for all your rolander software.
If not, you need a good USB hub.
If that’s not enough, you also need the Rolanders Desktop USB Charger.
This is an optional accessory that can charge your ROlander keyboards in just a few minutes, or charge your phone or tablet at home with just a couple of clicks.
If all of the above isn’t enough, we also have a free Roland keyboard extension called the ROBLOX Keychain, which will add ROland support to your existing keyboard.
How do you use roland?
To get started, go back to the main ROland settings page and select the software that you want, then go to its application settings.
Here you’ll see the software list, and select ROland.
This opens up a menu where you can add additional software and keys.
Next, click on ROland Keyboard Software and then click Add.
This app will install and then take care to take care for setting up the software and network settings.
If everything is setup correctly, your ROLand keyboard should now work with all of your apps, media sources, and games!
Once your ROLAND keyboard is setup, go ahead and plug in your USB dngle, then plug your keyboard into your PC, and then press the start button to start the ROLand app.
